Agricultural / Food Waste Agricultural and large scale food production applications show huge returns from sustainable energy production with the B2E Biomass-to-Energy system. Traditional waste treatment designs have simply proven inadequate to satisfy current and coming regulatory and economic constraints. The B2E process turns this waste “problem” into a tremendously profitable renewable and sustainable energy resource: conversion rates are maximized while costly residuals production is almost negated. Municipal Wastes / Sludges Municipal Wastewater treatment plants need to cut the costs and the liabilities of sludge handling and disposal. Either the AFC system for new plants or the Bioflexsm process for retrofits will reduce operating expenses dramatically. Conventional digesters achieve typically 45% destruction of waste sludge solids. The AFC can achieve up to 95% destruction of biosolids. In mall plants this is done aerobically for simplicity; large plants benefit from the anaerobic AFC and the opportunity for substantial profit with sustainable energy recovery. Pharmaceutical / Chemical Pharmaceutical, Specialty Chemical, and GMO producers benefit most from total onsite sludge destruction and show outstanding investment returns with the AFCsm process. Sludge disposal costs and potential liabilities are highest for these manufacturers. Typically there are high-strength streams in the plant that are perfectly suited to the AFCsm and offer the highest payback for multiple reasons. Full scale installations are operating successfully treating wastes with over 300,000 mg/l COD. Case Studies

Groundwater / Recalcitrants Low flow applications with contamination by poorly biodegraded compounds are best treated by the innovative e-FFECT electrochemical technology. Extremely aggressive ORP and pH conditions can be independently controlled to affect selective destruction of target organics. Problematic compounds successfully destroyed with this system include Dioxin, ETA, MTBE EDTA, and Glycols.
